College-Bound Workshop
- You are cordially invited
to attend a college-bound workshop offered by Franklin Square Raiders
Soccer Club on Wednesday, May 22, at 7:00pm at Carey High School, 730
Poppy Avenue, Franklin Square. The meeting will be in the cafeteria.
This workshop will be about helping you understand NCAA Clearing House
rules and how they affect your ability to play soccer and other sports
in college. The College Bound Player Program is sponsored by Long
Island Junior Soccer League and is run by Patricia Grecco.
Patrick Horne, Head Coach, Women's Soccer at Brooklyn College, CUNY,
will be at the workshop and there also will probably be a men’s coach.
Come on down and bring your parents. It will be an informative workshop
and help you in your quest to play sports in college. These people have
been helping students for quite some time and know what they are talking
about. There will be handouts at the workshop which will give you the
guidelines for NCAA rules as well as sample Player Profiles and letters
to coaches.
If you are coming, please contact Pat Brustman by May 20th via
email – pbrust@optonline.net
